ABOUT CHANI - YOUR ZEN MENTOR
With over a decade of experience in the dental field, I’ve worked across both general and specialty practices, growing from assistant to leader and mentor. I’m an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, and a proud member of the American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA). I also serve as a Director with the Florida Dental Assistants Association (FDAA), where I advocate for professional growth, recognition, and advancement within the dental assisting community.
I hold a Google Project Management Certification, blending organization with intention, and my professional journey includes advanced leadership training through the Bell Leadership Achievers Program and the Ritz-Carlton Brand Experience, where I deepened my understanding of service excellence, team culture, and the kind of leadership that inspires lasting impact.
My work is rooted in partnering with dentists to help Dental Assistants lead with clarity, calm, and confidence — because leadership isn’t just about skill, it’s about self-awareness. Through Your Zen Mentor, I offer guidance that bridges professional growth with grounded practice needs, so assistants can lead with purpose and strengthen every part of the patient and team experience.
